Databricks is seeking a seasoned Solutions Architect to drive customer engagements and champion our Data Intelligence Platform. You will partner with Account Executives to shape strategic technical outcomes, coach teams, and influence executives across complex deals.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in pre-sales, deep coding knowledge, and hands-on cloud experience, with travel up to 30%. You will act as a trusted advisor, delivering architecture designs and customer-focused strategies.

Qualifications

• Ten+ years of customer-facing technical experience.
• Experience engaging in complex customer interactions and technical pre-sales.
• Ability to influence decision-makers and executives through relationships and teams.
• Proficiency in core languages (Python, Java, Scala) with willingness to learn Spark.
• Hands-on with proofs-of-concept and public cloud platforms.
• Willing to travel up to 30% when needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop customer engagement strategies in partnership with Account Executives.
• Coach junior Solutions Architects and teams on use case prioritization.
• Influence stakeholders across the wider cloud ecosystem and partners.
• Serve as expert solution architect and trusted advisor for data analytics architecture and adoption of the Databricks platform.
• Create customer-facing collateral and lead workshops, seminars, and meet-ups.
• Pursue ongoing development in technical specialization, industry leadership, strategy, or people management.
