Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a Senior Manager to lead solution architecture and engineering for content and digital platforms, including the Marketing AI platform. You will write production-grade backend code, design data pipelines, and drive cloud migrations from Azure to AWS.

You will also build agentic marketing applications using AI/ML frameworks, lead DevOps practices, and ensure security, governance, and cost optimization across the stack.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field with 8+ years of hands-on IT engineering and architecture experience, including 6+ years in lead architect roles.
• 4-5 years of heavy backend engineering—production-grade APIs, microservices, event-driven systems, data pipelines (Python/Node.js/Java).
• 4-5 years of DevOps and AWS cloud infra—CI/CD, IaC, containers, serverless; Azure-to-AWS migrations and AI/ML platform work.
• Strong full-stack capabilities with React/TypeScript; relational (PostgreSQL/RDS) and NoSQL (DynamoDB/DocumentDB).
• Experience with AI/ML and GenAI (Bedrock, SageMaker) and agentic AI frameworks (LangChain/LangGraph/CrewAI).

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and deliver solution architectures for content & digital platforms and the Marketing AI platform.
• Serve as Technical Lead for Azure-to-AWS migration of the Marketing AI platform with target AWS architecture.
• Build and deploy agentic AI applications for content generation, audience segmentation, and real-time personalization.
• Support the north-star vision of automating end-to-end marketing workflows with the Marketing AI & Innovation Engineering Lead.
• Drive DevOps and cloud infra—CI/CD pipelines, IaC, container orchestration, serverless deployments, and cost governance.
• Lead full-stack and backend engineering—microservices, data pipelines, and AI/ML pipelines (SageMaker, Bedrock).
• Partner cross-functionally with CASA Leads, Cloud Engineering, Cyber Security, and Data & Enterprise Architecture.
