Bristol Myers Squibb seeks a Senior Manager, Data Engineer to enable data platforms across Clinical Operations. You will lead cross-functional teams, design scalable data ecosystems, and apply GenAI techniques to drive innovation in trials.

You will collaborate with analysts, trial managers, and domain experts to ensure robust data governance, end-to-end lineage, and self-service analytics. Strong cloud, Python, and Spark skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of cross-domain experience in Data Engineering, Analytics, and AI/ML.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Databricks proficiency including Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Workflows, Mosaic AI, MLflow.
• Cloud-native data platforms, ETL/ELT, data modeling, and DevOps experience.
• Python, SQL, Spark; experience with LLMs, RAG, and vector embeddings.
• Life sciences or clinical trial operations knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support and contribute to cross-functional AI and Data initiatives across Clinical Trial Operations product lines.
• Develop and enhance data solutions to accelerate data usage across clinical R&D.
• Collaborate with BI&T partners and domain experts to adopt Data Platform solutions.
• Deliver data product development, governance, and latency requirements.
• Build GenAI-powered applications and NLP-driven data discovery tools.
• Stay current on GenAI trends and apply best practices to optimize platform performance.
