Job summary
Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a senior platform architect to lead the Architecture & Components efforts powering analytics, digital products, and digital workers across PDS. You will design distributed systems, orchestration, and reusable components to enable scalable, secure, and AI-enabled solutions.
The role emphasizes hands-on technical leadership, end-to-end platform development, and collaboration with UI, AI, and backend teams.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of software engineering with full-stack delivery and production experience with LLM-powered or agentic apps.
- Strong Python (asyncio) and API design capabilities.
- Proficient with modern web frontends (React) and micro-frontend patterns.
Responsibilities
- Architect distributed, multi-service platforms and orchestration across autonomous services and agents.
- Design internal SaaS/PaaS with reusable SDKs, contracts, and components.
- Build APIs and event-driven architectures for orchestration and service-to-service communication.
- Develop platform components enabling dual-intent delivery to web and desktop clients.
- Ensure security, observability, and scalable performance across the platform.
