Job summary

TransPerfect is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to lead the configuration of Trial Interactive enterprise software, collaborating with operations, sales, and product teams to translate customer requirements into concrete solutions. The role emphasizes design of configurations, documentation, and expert demonstrations in support of sales cycles.

The ideal candidate has extensive SaaS experience, strong regulatory knowledge (GxP), and a track record in life sciences or clinical operations,

Qualifications

Broad knowledge of current technology, tools and techniques for data and system integration.
Minimum bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in years’ experience.
Minimum 5 years’ solutions consulting, software product configuration, or similar experience.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in life sciences, eTMF, clinical operations, regulatory, quality, or content management.
Self-starter with excellent organization and time management skills. Ability to build a deep understanding of a customer’s needs and guide them to a technical solution.
Fundamental understanding of SaaS and Cloud-based technology and business models.
Strong computer skills, including MS Office suite, especially MS Excel.
Comfort with sustained global business travel of up to 10%.
Strong interpersonal communication skills, internally and externally, especially with customers and sales-force.
Experience with GxP and software validation process and regulations.
Experience working with REST API’s, sFTP, JSON, XML, SSO (SAML 2.0) and IDP’s such as Okta.
Previous software development experience in one or more of the following areas desired but not mandatory:
Backend (Python, Java, C#, Node.js, PHP).
Basic SHELL scripting to assist with automating manual tasks such as search and replace of content within documents, leveraging regular expressions.

Responsibilities

Assemble and configure Trial Interactive enterprise software and solutions during the implementation cycle.
Design and document new configurations and solutions for Trial Interactive software.
Create and maintain User Requirements Specification and Configuration Specifications.
Act as product configuration and domain expert in sales cycles and product demonstrations.
Collaborate with Sales on configurations for RFIs/RFPs/RFQs and demonstrations.
Bridge Sales, Operations and Product teams to relay customer requirements.
Develop and script product and solution demonstrations.
Promote the Trial Interactive vision through demos, webinars, conferences and initiatives.
Participate in SOW reviews and vetting of new business opportunities.
Provide training and mentorship to junior team members and staff as needed.
Create and maintain SOPs per QA and dept guidelines; handle additional tasks as assigned.
