BECU is hiring a Senior Solutions Engineer to bridge architecture and engineering for lending and credit card technology. You will design scalable, secure, and innovative solutions, mentor teams, and drive modernization across large-scale cloud environments.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, collaboration across cross-functional teams, and delivering high-impact financial technology platforms that improve member experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent required.
• Minimum 10 years of information technology experience with demonstrated expertise in application design.
• Experience with financial products (credit cards, mortgages, deposits) and UX, integration, and API layers.
• Experience with public cloud (Azure/AWS/GCP) technologies including IaaS, PaaS, SaaS offerings.

Responsibilities

• Lead solution design for enterprise-scale lending and credit card platforms.
• Architect for scale, translating business needs into detailed technical designs.
• Drive modernization to simplify systems and improve architecture.
• Shape cloud-first solutions using modern architectures and services.
• Mentor engineers and lead engineering teams across the organization.
• Communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
