Job summary

BECU seeks a Principal Solutions Engineer to lead enterprise design across lending and credit card platforms. The role combines architecture leadership with hands-on engineering to modernize and scale complex financial systems.

You will mentor teams, drive API and integration strategy, and influence technology direction while collaborating with stakeholders and leadership to deliver business impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent work experience.
• Advanced degree is preferred.
• 10+ years IT experience with enterprise design.
• Experience with financial products (cards, loans, deposits).
• Public cloud experience (Azure/AWS/GCP) required.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams on enterprise initiatives.

• Lead solution design for lending and credit card platforms with strategic alignment.
