Job summary
The World Bank Group in Washington, DC invites an Associate Senior Solutions Architect to lead modern, cloud-native architecture across corporate platforms. You will mentor engineers, run architecture reviews, and partner with stakeholders to translate strategy into scalable, reliable solutions.
Key focus areas include AI-enabled development, DevOps and API enablement, quality engineering, and platform delivery excellence.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree with 8+ years progressively responsible experience in solution architecture or related fields.
- Experience with cloud-native development, APIs, DevOps, SDLC/ADLC and engineering enablement.
- Experience leading architecture reviews, mentoring staff and engaging stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Design and promote modern application architectures, reusable frameworks, and integration patterns.
- Lead modernization initiatives to improve delivery speed, maintainability and scalability.
- Drive AI-enabled development and developer productivity initiatives.
- Promote modern QA, test automation, and continuous testing practices.
- Support adoption of frameworks, DevOps practices, APIs, and low-code/no-code platforms.
- Provide architecture guidance, mentoring, and lead design workshops.
