Job summary

State Street Corporation's State Street Investment Management is seeking a Solution Architect to design and support end-to-end architectures across Investment Management, Product and Client Experience. This senior role collaborates with Product Owners, Engineering leads, POD teams, and System Architects to translate requirements into practical designs.

You will apply enterprise patterns, API-driven and cloud-native approaches, and contribute to governance while enabling delivery teams.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of experience in solution architecture, system architecture, or senior application design roles.
• Experience designing solutions in complex, multi-system environments across more than one business domain.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Ability to work effectively with Product, Engineering, and Architecture stakeholders in matrix-ed teams.
• Working knowledge of modern SDLC, DevOps, and Product‑Oriented Delivery (POD) models.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end solution architectures for assigned domains, initiatives, or products.
• Translate business, functional, and non-functional requirements into architecture artifacts and blueprints.
• Collaborate with System Architects and delivery teams to align domain designs with enterprise intent.
• Support POD teams with architectural clarity, design guidance, and ongoing consultation.
• Apply enterprise platforms and patterns, including API-driven and event-driven integration.
