Job summary

State Street Corporation seeks a VP Business Architect to lead enterprise architecture efforts across investment management transformation. You will drive capability modeling, value streams, and operating model design in a matrixed environment, coordinating with product, platform, and service teams.

You will guide solutions from business strategy to technology roadmaps, leveraging cloud, APIs, and GenAI capabilities to deliver customer-centric platform improvements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in business/enterprise architecture or transformation roles in financial services.
• Ability to design and align capabilities, value streams and operating models.
• Experience with cloud-native design, data integration, and security practices.
• Proficiency in architecture frameworks (TOGAF, BIZBOK, ArchiMate).
• Strong communication and stakeholder management across senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Establish and mature a scalable business architecture function.
• Design capability models, value streams, and operating models aligned to strategy.
• Partner with business and tech leaders to align strategy with investments.
• Embed PPS operating model principles and governance.
• Provide oversight and thought leadership for transformation programs.
• Develop deliverables like capability maps and investment roadmaps.
