Job summary

State Street is seeking an experienced Solution Architect for AI and Cloud Systems in its AML Compliance Technology team. Qualifications

• Experience in enterprise solution architecture and distributed systems design.
• Hands-on AWS experience (Bedrock, S3, EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, IAM).
• Deep knowledge of Generative AI and Agentic AI (LLMs, RAG, AI agents).
• Proficiency in Python, APIs, microservices, containers, Kubernetes, and event-driven architectures.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end architecture and design of enterprise AI, cloud, data, and application solutions.
• Translate business requirements into secure, scalable solution architectures.
• Define reusable patterns for AWS, Databricks, APIs, microservices, data platforms, and hybrid-cloud integration.
• Provide architecture governance from design to production rollout.
• Mentor architects and engineers while promoting standards and best practices.
• Evaluate platforms and vendors for value, risk, scalability, and TCO.
