Job summary

Siemens Digital Industries Software seeks a Solution Architect to lead end-to-end solution definition and technical execution for software implementations. You will work with consultants, project managers, QA, and delivery teams to translate business requirements into design and ensure delivery aligns with Siemens standards.

Lead architecture decisions, author functional specs, and govern solution delivery with a customer-facing role.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science or related field or equivalent experience.
Experience designing Teamcenter solutions; knowledge of Enovia, Windchill, Aras Innovator or Agile PLM is a plus.
Excellent presentation and communication skills for multi-level audiences.

Responsibilities

Lead the project team and customer to achieve project goals.
Own the entire solution delivered, including work by other team members.
Ensure Siemens’ standard methodologies are followed and the functional specification is implemented correctly.
Advise offshore team on functional specifications.
Assist the Project Managers with estimates, WBS, and scope enforcement.
Be a trusted advisor to steer customer toward Siemens Best Practices.
Author project materials detailing implementation information.
Coordinate with QA to implement our Quality Assurance process.
Run workshops to implement the Solution Definition portion of Siemens Delivery methodology.
Communicate design direction clearly to team and partners.
Support Engagement Manager in proposals and business plans.
Lead customer expectations across the project cycle.
