Job summary

Siemens Software is seeking a Solution Architect to lead end-to-end solution definition and technical execution for DI Software implementations. You will work with consultants, PMs, QA, and distributed teams to translate requirements into design and ensure delivery aligns with Siemens standards.

You will drive architecture decisions, author specifications, and balance customer needs with long-term roadmap, maintaining autonomy on varied projects and sharing reusable assets within the Zone

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent from accredited university (engineering, computer science or related field).
• Experience in Semiconductor, Electronics, Industrial Machinery, or Battery industries; advanced degree may substitute experience.
• Experience designing Teamcenter solutions; familiarity with Enovia, ePDM, Windchill, Aras Innovator, or Agile PLM will be considered.
• Excellent presentation skills and strong written and verbal communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project team and customer to deliver project goals.
• Own the entire solution delivered to the customer including work done by other team members.
• Ensure Siemens' standard methodologies are followed and the functional specification is implemented correctly.
• Advise the offshore team to optimally conduct documented functional specifications.
• Assist the Project Managers with estimates, detailed Work Breakdown Structure, and enforcement of scope.
• Become a trusted advisor to the customer to steer toward Siemens Best Practices.
• Author project materials to document detailed implementation information.
• Collaborate with QA lead to implement the Quality Assurance process.
• Run workshops to implement the Solution Definition portion of Siemens Delivery methodology.
• Effectively communicate design direction to team members and partners.
• Support the Engagement Manager in proposals, business plans, and specifications.
• Lead customer expectations across the project cycle.
