Job summary

Siemens AG in the United States is seeking a Solution Architect to lead end-to-end solution definition and technical execution for Siemens DI Software implementations across multiple domains. You will work with consultants, project managers and delivery teams to translate business requirements into design and ensure compliant implementation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in engineering, computer science or related field; experience may substitute for degree.
• Experience in Semiconductor, Electronics, Industrial Machinery, Battery or related industries; advanced degree may substitute for experience.
• Proven ability to design Teamcenter solutions; familiarity with Enovia, ePDM, Windchill, Aras Innovator or Agile PLM is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project team and customer to deliver project goals.
• Own the entire solution delivered to the customer including work by other team members.
• Ensure Siemens’ standard methodologies are followed and the functional specification is implemented correctly.
• Advise offshore team on documented functional specifications.
• Assist Project Managers with estimates, WBS, and scope enforcement.
• Be a trusted advisor to steer customer toward Siemens Best Practices.
• Author project materials detailing implementation information.
• Work with QA to implement Quality Assurance processes.
• Run workshops for Solution Definition portion of Siemens Delivery methodology.
• Communicate design direction clearly to team members and partners.
• Support proposals and business plan preparation.
• Lead customer expectations across project cycle.
