Job summary

Turnberry Solutions is seeking a Solution Architect to join its Digital Modernization practice in Des Moines, IA. The role focuses on defining logical architectures, aligning infrastructure across cloud and on-prem, and guiding complex technical systems from discovery through retirement.

You will partner with product, security, and DevOps teams to ensure scalable, secure, and compliant solutions while driving architectural decisions and governance across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or direct and applicable work experience.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in security applications and controls.
• Minimum 4 years of cloud architecture experience, including system integration and analysis.
• Proven ability to design and guide complex technical systems.
• Experience migrating to public cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve end-to-end architecture for one or more systems.
• Develop architectural diagrams, patterns, and decision records.
• Ensure systems are scalable, reliable, secure, and maintainable.
• Collaborate with product management and engineering to translate business needs into technical designs.
• Lead architectural decisions and document rationale for traceability.
