Job summary

Sanborn, Head & Associates, Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Manager, Civil/Environmental Engineer, with solid waste experience to lead a team of engineers and scientists in delivering innovative, practical solutions.

You will develop technical strategies, oversee production, and manage projects financially and technically, coordinating with clients and project teams in a fast-paced environment. Hybrid or fully remote work is available with potential for firm ownership for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years relevant experience (solid waste) or 8 years with MS.
• Professional Engineer licensure or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical strategies and oversee production of technical work products.
• Lead design using AutoCAD Civil 3D to prepare drawings and calculations.
• Support stormwater management, hydrology, drainage and landfill-related designs.
• Coordinate with project team members and clients.
• Interpret and analyze field and laboratory data.
• Oversee preparation of technical reports, data tables, specifications, and other deliverables.
• Serve as Engineer-of-Record; manage projects financially and technically.
• Supervise staff engineers and scientists; prepare proposals and budgets.
• Develop clientele and act as primary client manager.
