Job summary

EDF power solutions North America seeks a Renewable Energy Technician to perform field maintenance, troubleshooting, and commissioning of wind, solar, storage, and related systems at our Hawaii site.

You will use diagnostic tools, work with HV equipment, and uphold safety practices. A mandatory five-week training and certification course starts at hire in Albert Lea, MN, with travel and accommodations arranged.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in a renewable energy asset.
• Proficiency with advanced diagnostic tools and understanding of system software.
• Mandatory five-week training and certification course at start of employment; training in Albert Lea, MN; travel and expenses provided.

Responsibilities

• 70% - Performs unsupervised corrective and preventative maintenance on utility-scale renewable energy assets, plants and energy storage systems.
• 10% - Train and oversee technician 1 and 2 as outlined in the applicable qualification card.
• 10% - Conduct site safety assessments, team engagement visits and equipment inspections, lead safety meetings and complete safety documentation.
• 5% - Complete daily maintenance logs, warranty and inventory documentation, service orders and timecards.
