Job summary

NovaSource Power Services, the world’s leading solar operations and maintenance provider, is seeking a skilled technician to support utility-scale PV plants. You will monitor, test, and maintain electrical systems, SCADA operations, and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Utility Solar Operations & Maintenance.
• Experience with electrical power plant systems, SCADA and controls operation.
• Supervisory experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of local and national electrical codes.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and prints.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Able to complete NovaSource Technician Qualification within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Perform to quarterly KPIs: energy generation, on-time maintenance, plant efficiency.
• Maintain a safe work environment and promote company protocols.
• Conduct training on Job Hazard Analysis, Pre-Job Brief and Lock-Out-Tag-Out.
• Perform PM work on site components: measuring, testing and procedures.
• Train personnel on safety, environmental and procedural requirements.
• Coordinate on-site planning, installations, and testing; ensure documentation.
