Job summary

NextEra Energy Resources is seeking a senior solar project manager to independently oversee a portfolio of early-stage solar projects. You will coordinate with the Solar Regional Lead Project Manager and surface insights from technical, financial, and operational data.

Responsibilities include budgeting, scheduling, contracts, and permitting support, with interaction across executives, suppliers, regulators, and communities to drive project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required in a relevant field.
• Strong project management experience.
• Solid financial and data analysis capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a portfolio of Solar projects from early-stage to turnover.
• Support broader team towards project, business unit, and corporate targets.
• Analyze technical and financial data to identify variables and trends.
• Ensure projects are technically feasible, scheduled, commercially viable, and financially sound.
• Coordinate engineering, permitting, and contracting activities; manage budgets and schedules.
• Develop construction plans and negotiate commercial contracts; manage variances across portfolio.
• Utilize software tools to manage data, deliverables, and key indicators.
• Collaborate with Executive Leadership, Suppliers, Regulators, and communities.
