Job summary

Kiewit Power Engineering in Lenexa, KS, is seeking a Solar Performance Manager to lead internal engineering teams in energy modeling and performance testing for solar projects. Qualifications

• Master’s degree or 10 years of related experience.
• PVsyst-based solar plant performance modeling experience.
• Experience with SCADA/data acquisition systems for utility-scale solar or BESS.

Responsibilities

• Lead a Solar Performance team from RFP through testing.
• Mentor junior solar performance engineers.
• Develop/review PVsyst models for EPC proposals and performance guarantees.
• Create performance test procedures and schedules.
• Analyze SCADA/data historian data to validate performance tests.
• Present findings to senior leadership.
• Support degradation-focused evaluation for BESS projects.
