RES Group is seeking a Sr. Engineer IV - Solar Engineering to provide PV performance and design expertise on utility-scale solar and solar+storage projects through development, design, construction, and commissioning phases.

The role is hybrid, requiring a minimum of three days in office, with responsibilities spanning technical leadership, performance analysis, and interface with clients and subcontractors to ensure quality and schedule adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field required; Master’s preferred.
• 8+ years in utility-scale PV engineering or related design and performance analysis.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally 5–15%.
• Strong writing and communication skills; ability to lead teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead solar engineering for development, design, construction, and commissioning phases.
• Analyze plant performance using SCADA, MET, inverters, trackers, and meters.
• Draft and approve technical docs, designs, and performance reports.
• Coordinate with clients, procurement, and subcontractors to maintain schedule.
