Job summary

Renewable Energy Systems Ltd is seeking a Sr. Engineer IV - Solar Engineering to provide solar PV design and performance expertise on utility-scale projects through development, design, construction, and commissioning phases.

The role is hybrid, requiring a minimum of 3 days in office, with responsibilities spanning technical leadership, data-driven performance analysis, and coordination with clients and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• 8+ years progressive experience in utility-scale PV engineering and related site feasibility, energy modeling, equipment selection, and layout.

Responsibilities

• Lead Solar Engineering for internal departments (development, procurement, construction, commissioning, and engineering).
• Analyze plant performance using SCADA, MET, inverter, and DC data to identify underperformance and root causes.
• Draft and review contracts, exhibits, scopes of work and technical documentation.
• Coordinate engineering priorities and ensure schedule adherence and contract conformance.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and mentoring to the solar engineering team.
