Job summary

Invenergy LLC is seeking a Solar Technician to assist in operating and maintaining the Chalk Bluff Solar Energy Center and related site equipment. Responsibilities include mechanical and electrical maintenance, vegetation management, and troubleshooting complex issues across inverters, trackers, and substations.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in renewable energy operations & maintenance or 8+ years in a related field, can travel up to 30%, and is able to work nights during maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4+ years in renewable energy operations & maintenance or 8+ years relevant experience.
• Willing to travel up to 30%.
• Willing to work nights during maintenance activities.
• Must work outdoors in inclement weather.
• Driver's license and clean driving record.
• Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine mechanical and electrical maintenance on all site equipment.
• Perform vegetation management per site plan.
• Troubleshoot inverter, tracker, network, and substation issues.
• Understand electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic functions of site components.
• Conduct daily site maintenance with safety equipment.
• Work 7:00am–3:30pm, with overtime and possible night shifts.
