Job summary

Moss & Associates is seeking a Solar Project Manager to lead on-site administration for multi-state solar EPC projects, coordinating with Owners, Architects and Subcontractors to meet quality, schedule and budget.

You will oversee preconstruction through GMP or Lump Sum contracts, review design documents, manage change orders, and enforce safety programs while guiding staff and maintaining project controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 4+ years of experience as a Project Manager within the Solar/EPC construction industry.
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with construction project management applications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interface with owners, A/E teams and staff.
• Strong leadership and ability to build and maintain motivated teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversees preconstruction through GMP or Lump Sum contracts.
• Negotiates owner contracts and coordinates with design team and client.
• Identifies key subcontractors and leads partnering sessions.
• Develops bid packages, schedules, and site utilization plans.
• Manages project financials and budgets; tracks costs.
• Analyzes subcontractor finances and cash flow projections.
• Prepares and reviews project schedules, values, and requisitions.
• Administers change orders and enforces safety programs.
• Plans scopes of work, examines budgets, and mobilizes to site.
• Maintains look-ahead schedules and resource-loaded schedules.
• Recruits site staff and mentors team members.
• Manages document control, RFI, and CMiC system.
• Oversees field operations, subs, vendors, inspections.
• Promotes client relations and responds to client needs.
• Handles project closeout and warranty transfers.
• Participates in recruiting events and continuing education.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
