Job summary

Moss is seeking a Solar Project Manager to lead on-site administration, coordinating with Owners, Architects and Subcontractors to meet quality, schedule, and budget requirements on multi-state solar projects.

You will manage preconstruction activities, develop schedules, review costs, oversee safety programs, and lead subcontractor relations while advancing value engineering and ensuring compliance with GMP or Lump Sum contracts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or engineering
• Minimum 4+ years of experience as a Project Manager in Solar/EPC construction
• Strong computer skills including familiarity with construction project management applications
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to interface with owners' representatives, A/E teams, and stakeholders
• Strong leadership skills including coaching, mentoring and building motivated teams
• Advanced project management finance skills

Responsibilities

• Manages preconstruction services from Owner's criteria through GMP or Lump Sum contracts
• Negotiates owner contracts and coordinates with design teams and owners
• Identifies subcontractors, promotes partnering, and reviews design documents
• Develops bid packages and schedules, conducts pre-bid conferences, and identifies staffing needs
• Manages project financials, budgets, and changes, ensuring cost control and cash flow
• Maintains financial reports and schedules of values, processes monthly requisitions
• Oversees change orders, safety programs, and procurement processes
• Develops and updates project schedules and resource-loaded schedules
• Recruits site staff, conducts evaluations, and promotes morale
• Administers document control, RFI process, and crisis management plans
• Manages field operations, coordination with subs, vendors and inspections
• Promotes client relations and aligns with client needs
• Leads project closeout, warranties, and final payments
• Participates in recruiting, training, and industry activities
• Performs other duties as assigned
