Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in construction management, engineering, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience as a Project Manager within the Solar/EPC construction industry.
  • Strong computer skills, including familiarity with construction project management applications.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership and ability to build and maintain motivated teams.
  • Highly developed project management finance skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead preconstruction services from owners expectations through GMP or Lump Sum contracts.
  • Negotiate owner contracts and coordinate with design team and owner; review documents.
  • Identify key subcontractors and promote partnering; coordinate site investigations.
  • Develop bid packages, schedules, and site utilization plans; conduct pre-bid conferences.
  • Manage project financials; develop GMP/Lump Sum contracts and monitor expenditures.
  • Oversee change orders, risk and cash flow; administer bonding/insurance policies.
