Job summary

Moss seeks a Solar Senior Electrical Superintendent to lead field execution on multi-state solar projects. You will supervise direct reports, coordinate with subcontractors, and ensure safety and quality control across the portfolio.

You will interface with project management and executives, manage budgets and schedules, and contribute to front-end design and pre-construction site visits. This is a high-travel, salaried role with multi-state responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related field preferred.
• 5 years' experience as General Superintendent on utility-scale solar projects.
• Journeyman or masters license (NASCLA or equivalent) or ability to obtain within 6 months after hire.
• STS-C Certification at a minimum, or ability to obtain within 6 months after hire.
• Experience with leading multiple direct reports and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple utility-scale solar projects.
• Own interface and resource planning at program level.
• Support superintendents in owner discussions.
• Coordinate subcontracts with Project Management team.
• Mentor direct reports and conduct performance reviews.
• Create, distribute and enforce best practices for electrical field operations.
• Coordinate project completion and closeout.
• Develop and monitor safety initiatives.
• Assist with scheduling and procurement for engineering schedules.
• Support Electrical Superintendents in project scheduling.
• Assist managing subcontracted resources across portfolio.
• Coordinate with QC, commissioning, substation and other departments.
• Report on budget and schedule; support project executives in change discussions.
• Involve front-end design and oversee internal design reviews.
