Job summary

Sunrun is seeking a Certified Electrician 2 to lead residential solar electrical installations, mentor junior electricians, and ensure NEC and local code compliance. You will install solar systems, complete battery installations, and troubleshoot electrical issues while coordinating with the branch team and homeowners.

Expect to train on Sunrun practices, support system upgrades, and collaborate with inspectors. A Journeyman license and a clean driving record are required, with up to 5% travel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Journeyman license or equivalent per local/state requirements.
• Experience mentoring electricians and ensuring safety and code compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead installation of electrical systems interconnecting solar arrays to the grid.
• Ensure workmanship meets NEC and local codes.
• Complete solar battery installations and troubleshoot issues.
• Mentor team and train on Sunrun best practices.
• Collaborate with licensed inspectors and crew; support system upgrades.
• Travel up to 5% as required.
