Sunrun Inc. is seeking a Certified Electrician 1 in the United States to install solar systems, mentor apprentices, and support energy storage projects for residential customers.

You will perform main panel upgrades, troubleshoot electrical issues, ensure NEC compliance, and collaborate with AHJ inspectors. Travel up to 5% is required; a Journeyman license is required.

This role emphasizes safety, customer focus, and ongoing training with Sunrun's best practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year solar electrical installation and repair experience.
• Must hold a Journeyman license/electrician certification or equivalent.
• Ability to pass a driving background check and maintain a valid license.

Responsabilités

• Lead installation of electrical systems interconnecting solar arrays to the grid.
• Ensure workmanship meets NEC and local codes.
• Complete solar battery installations and troubleshoot issues.
• Plan and perform Main Panel Upgrades (MPU).
• Mentor team members and train on Sunrun best practices.
• Collaborate with licensed professionals and AHJ inspectors.
• Address quality issues and improve inspection pass rates.
• Travel up to 5%.
