Job summary

Clearway Energy Group is seeking a Senior Construction Project Manager in Scottsdale, AZ to lead on-site project delivery. You will oversee safety, quality, design, procurement, and construction activities, coordinating engineers, schedulers, and subcontractors to meet budgets and timelines.

This role requires strong leadership, communication, and deep energy industry experience. The position offers hybrid work where applicable and frequent collaboration with multiple teams.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience.
• 4+ years’ experience with Solar Energy, Community Solar or Utility Wind Energy Projects.
• Experience working for an EPC, CM Consulting Firm, Engineering Firm or Construction Contractor.
• Strong technical, supervisory, and project management skills based on construction industry experience.
• Strong familiarity with construction and electrical codes.
• Ability to travel 50-75% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and quality goals on assigned projects.
• Manage planning, design and construction processes for all projects.
• Monitor budget, schedule goals and cost lifecycle from inception to closeout.
• Create and track all schedule aspects to ensure on-time delivery.
• Oversee risk register and cost forecasting for projects.
• Supervise multiple teams including project staff and contractors.
• Negotiate subcontracts and manage subcontractor change orders.
• Serve as primary corporate representative to customers and authorities.
