Job summary

LMI is seeking a Software Testing Lead to support a USPS-focused program from a US-Remote location. You will guide testing efforts for software and hardware, build comprehensive test plans, and ensure quality delivery across agile teams.

Responsibilities include designing test cases, performing root-cause analysis, and coordinating user acceptance testing for AI components while ensuring accessibility and regulatory compliance. Strong communication and learning mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience designing a test strategy to ensure the delivery of high-quality software and hardware solutions.
• Demonstrated experience designing, developing, and executing test cases.
• Knowledge of architecture and tools for manual and automatic testing, integration testing, functional testing, and bug-tracking systems.
• Experience in qualitative research, persona development, user journey mapping, and visualizing user-experience flows.
• Experience in user research, including interviews, user testing, persona creation, information architecture, and workflow creation.
• Proficiency with C#, .NET, Python, Java or other programming language; Visual Studio; Relational Databases; Test Design Patterns
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of an agile development team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to obtain a USPS security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop tailored testing strategy with USPS alignment.
• Create test cases from requirements and change requests.
• Perform root cause analysis on defects and communicate findings.
• Execute manual and automated tests for software and hardware.
• Collaborate with developers and business teams on testing approaches.
• Communicate testing results to stakeholders.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing for AI components.
• Provide input on model outcomes delivery to users.
• Ensure compliance with standards including 508 accessibility.
