Job summary

The Boeing Company in El Segundo, CA is seeking an Experienced Hardware Emulation Software Engineer to join our Simulation Team. You will design, implement, integrate, test, and debug spacecraft dynamic models and interface software in real-time simulation environments across multiple hardware platforms.

You will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team and support software/hardware integration, documentation, and customer processes in a fast-paced CI/CD environment. The role requires a U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• 3+ years’ experience with real-time/near real-time simulations packages and development.
• 3+ years’ experience with programming languages such as C++, Java, JavaScript, Perl, Python, Visual Basic.
• Experience in development, hardware & software qualifications, and/or hardware & software delivery.

Responsibilities

• Plans and documents all phases of development, integration, and test including acceptance testing of simulation products in accordance with standard, enterprise, and customer processes.
• Supports software and hardware integration efforts.
• Produces and delivers design and test documentation/artifacts, including program CDRLs.
• Collaborates and supports Special Test Equipment (STE) testbed hardware teams for various emulator designs throughout the life-cycle.
• Works and interfaces with a technically diverse user community and a multi-disciplinary integrated product team (systems, ground, hardware, software, firmware).
• Provides support to end users for simulation operation, performance, test, delivery, and maintenance.
