Job summary

Tandem Diabetes Care is seeking a Sr. Software Test Engineer I to define and drive validation test plans across embedded and cloud-based software. You will lead test activities, review results, and ensure product quality through cross-functional collaboration with R&D, Technical Support, and Quality teams.

The role requires hands-on testing, strong knowledge of test automation, and experience with CI systems. Hybrid work in Del Mar, CA, with in-office days as needed.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of at least one embedded or cloud-based programming language, preferably JavaScript, C or C#.
• Experience with software test/QA processes and test plan development.
• Ability to read and follow procedures and flow diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Defines and leads test projects by defining schedules and review plans.
• Owns the team’s deliverables and coordinates test activities across teams.
• Oversees documentation of test operations and reports results to software engineering.
