Job summary

Leidos in Omaha, Nebraska, seeks a Senior Software Test Engineer to lead automated testing for government-focused software solutions. You will design and execute end-to-end test strategies, collaborate with engineers and product teams, and drive CI/CD across the release pipeline.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of related experience or Master's degree with 6+ years of experience.
Experience with software development (Java, NodeJS/JS, C++, Rust).
Experience with writing and/or developing test procedures and automated test scripts (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, etc.).

Responsibilities

Create and maintain automated test strategies and plans for CI/CD.
Execute functional, regression, performance and load tests for web apps and databases.
Collaborate with engineering, product, and IT to define test requirements and KPIs.
Report issues with steps to reproduce in Jira and track progress.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and risk assessments.
Support metrics collection and continuous improvement of testing processes.
