Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Senior Software Test Engineer in Omaha, NE to advance automated testing of our government-grade software solutions. The successful candidate will work with an outstanding software engineering team and support CI/CD for products deployed to our customers' environments.

Most work is on site in our Omaha facility, with some remote/work-from-home flexibility. You will plan, design and execute end-to-end tests, drive test automation strategy, and measure KPIs while leveraging

Qualifications

US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years or Master’s with 6+ years of experience.
Experience with software development (Java, NodeJS/JS, C++, Rust).
Experience with writing automated test scripts and procedures.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain test methodology documentation for traceability and repeatability.
Identify regression test candidates for automation, plan automation activities across the team and automate test cases.
Execute test cases/scripts including functional, regression, exploratory, performance, load and smoke tests for web apps and databases.
Report issues in Jira with steps to reproduce.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and risk assessments, support KPI metrics.
