Job summary

Michigan Department of Health & Human Services (DHHS) is seeking a Software Test Analyst to design and execute manual and automated tests, including API and ADA compliance testing. The role involves building test plans, generating data, and producing metrics across DEV/UAT/QAT/PRE-PROD environments using Azure DevOps.

Collaboration in an Agile team and on-site Wednesdays/Thursdays is required with flexible remote days on Mon/Tue/Fri.

Qualifications

5+ years designing and executing manual and automated test cases.
5+ years analyzing requirements and acceptance criteria in Azure DevOps.
5+ years generating and documenting test plans and strategies.
5+ years API testing with Postman, Rest Client, and others.
Demonstrable experience automating web applications with Playwright, Selenium, Cypress.
Understanding testing methodologies and QA processes across multiple levels.
3-5+ years performance/load testing with JMeter or LoadRunner.
Bachelor's degree or higher in IT.

Responsibilities

Design and execute manual and automated test cases across projects.
Generate testing reports and metrics for stakeholders.
Create and acquire test data and build test environments (DEV/UAT/QAT/PRE-PROD).
Perform ADA Compliance testing and accessibility checks.
Collaborate with developers, BAs and testers in an Agile/Scrum team.
