Job summary

Michigan Department of Health & Human Services (DHHS) is seeking a Software Test Analyst in Lansing, MI. The role requires designing and executing manual and automated tests, API testing, ADA compliance checks, and generating test plans.

The candidate will work in a hybrid schedule with onsite Wednesdays and Thursdays, and remote days Monday/Friday. Responsibilities include building test data, creating test reports, tracking defects in Azure DevOps, and collaborating with cross-functional teams

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing and executing manual and automated test cases.
• 5+ years analyzing requirements, user stories in Azure DevOps, and acceptance criteria.
• 5+ years generating and documenting test plans and strategies.
• 5+ years API testing and tools like Postman, Rest Client, and others.
• Demonstrable experience automating web applications with Playwright, Selenium, Cypress or similar.
• Experience with QA methodologies and processes across multiple domains.
• 3-5+ years performance/load testing with JMeter or LoadRunner.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in an IT related field.
• Experience automating web apps with Playwright for Java.
• Experience in financial and government domains.

Responsibilities
