Job summary

BuzzClan in Lansing, MI seeks a Software Test Analyst 5 contractor to support the MDHHS ARC project for the State of Michigan. You will design and execute manual and automated tests, perform API testing, and contribute to test plans, strategies, and metrics.

Role requires strong QA background, experience with Playwright/Selenium/Cypress, and ADA testing. Hybrid work arrangement with on-site Wednesdays and Thursdays in downtown Lansing.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Testing & QA experience.
• Ability to analyze requirements, user stories in Azure DevOps.
• Design reusable test cases including boundary testing.
• Experience generating test plans and strategies.
• Experience API testing with Postman/REST clients.
• Automation of web apps using Playwright/Selenium/Cypress.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in IT related field.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute manual and automated test cases.
• Document test plans, strategies, and testing metrics.
• Perform API testing and ADA compliance testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Write clear test results, bugs, and risk reports.
• Create test data and validate against Oracle/SQL Server databases.
