Connectly Recruiting is seeking a Senior Software Support Engineer to own complex production issues across its software platforms. You will work directly with application code, databases, and cloud infrastructure to identify root causes and implement long-term fixes, impacting reliability and customer experience.

You will collaborate with Software Engineering, QA, DevOps, Product, and Support to improve stability and drive modernization, with opportunities to contribute to AI-assisted tooling

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, application support, or production support within a SaaS environment.
• Strong hands-on troubleshooting and debugging across application code, databases, and infrastructure.
• Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and authentication/SSO technologies.
• Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, or similar technologies.

Responsabilités

• Own Tier 3 production support, investigating and resolving escalated issues from diagnosis to resolution.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in Ruby on Rails, React/TypeScript, SQL/PostgreSQL, and related tech.
• Perform root-cause analysis to prevent recurring issues across apps, DBs, integrations, and infra.
• Collaborate with Software Engineering, QA, DevOps, Product, and Support to improve stability and reliability.
• Develop scripts, tools, and AI-assisted solutions to streamline troubleshooting and support processes.
• Contribute to software enhancements and modernization initiatives, including migrations to modern frameworks.
• Mentor junior engineers, improve technical documentation, and establish best practices.
