Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a senior software engineer to join our Trust and Safety team. You will engineer security improvements to the company product, build anomaly detection, and help prevent abuse on our SaaS platforms.

A strong background with Ruby on Rails and large codebases is required. You will lead collaboration with peer teams, maintain in-house abuse detection systems, and advance AI-driven safety capabilities in a fully remote role across the United States.

Qualifications

• Strong software development skills with Ruby/Rails.
• Experience building distributed applications in cloud environments.
• Interest in security engineering and abuse prevention.
• Comfortable working in a fully remote role across the US.

Responsibilities

• Maintain core abuse prevention systems and create new detection rules.
• Be a core maintainer for the in-house abuse platform (Rails monolith).
• Improve AI capabilities for abuse mitigation and reduce manual work.
• Collaborate with peer teams to deliver safety improvements.
• Automate processes and create runbooks and procedures.
