Job summary

Lucid Motors is seeking a Sr. Software Quality Operations Engineer to drive end-to-end software quality across vehicle programs.

You will lead issue triage, governance, and release-readiness while coordinating across Engineering, Validation, Program Management, Product Quality, Service, Manufacturing, and Cybersecurity teams. The role emphasizes strong knowledge of software development, validation processes, and disciplined program execution.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field.
10+ years of software quality, quality operations, or related field experience.
Experience managing cross-functional issue resolution and quality governance.

Responsibilities

Lead software issue triage, prioritization, and tracking across vehicle domains and software releases.
Drive cross-functional coordination for root-cause analysis, corrective actions, validation, and issue closure.
Own critical issue review processes with clear ownership and visibility into risks, blockers, and resolution status.
Monitor defect backlog health, aging, closure performance, and recurring quality concerns requiring escalation.
Facilitate software quality review meetings and ensure ownership and follow-through for open issues.
Develop and maintain software quality dashboards and KPI reporting for executive visibility.
Partner with multiple teams to drive release-readiness and risk-based decisions.
Identify quality process gaps and implement continuous improvements.
