Lucid Motors is seeking an experienced Sr. Manager to lead Engineering, Vehicle testing, Supply Chain, R&D, and Program Management services. You will drive cost‑effective procurement strategies for engineering products and services, and mentor cross‑functional teams to optimize cost and quality.

The role emphasizes data‑driven decisions and supplier relationship management. You will partner with engineering, finance, legal, and supply chain to ensure alignment with business goals and budgets,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, supply chain, or related field.
• 12+ years in category management, procurement or sourcing in engineering/manufacturing.
• 3+ years leading direct teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead category strategies for engineering, vehicle testing, prototype, vehicle safety, and related services.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize cost and quality in sourcing strategies.
• Provide data-driven recommendations to design, manufacturing, and procurement decisions.
• Identify, qualify, and manage supplier relationships in engineering categories.
• Negotiate long-term contracts and pricing with suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance to meet quality, delivery, and cost targets.
• Resolve supplier issues proactively with cross-functional teams.
• Align sourcing strategies with company goals alongside finance, legal, and supply chain.
• Support strategic sourcing for tools and materials and assist budgeting and forecasting with finance.
