Job summary

Cambia is hiring a Software Quality Engineer I-III for a hybrid role with three days in-office across multiple U.S. locations, including Renton.

You will join the Software Quality Engineering team to prevent and detect defects, ensure quality across the product lifecycle, and enable delivery teams to succeed. The role requires a BA/BS in computer science or related field and experience in at least one programming language such as Java, Ruby, Python or C#.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in CS or related field with programming experience in Java, Ruby, Python or C#.
• Experience in software quality and testing across product lifecycle (development, deployment, maintenance).
• Familiarity with Agile practices and test automation.

Responsibilities

• Participate on project Scrum team and defect triage while managing personal backlog.
• Review user stories, acceptance criteria, specs, designs, code and tests to ensure quality standards.
• Develop, automate and execute unit, component and system tests; write test cases and verify fixes.
• Mentor teammates and improve test coverage, stability and process efficiency.
