Job summary

Draeger Medical Systems, Inc. is seeking a Technical Project Manager II to lead software projects in a hybrid work setting based at our Andover, MA office.

You will oversee planning, execution, and delivery across the product lifecycle, coordinating with engineering, QA, and suppliers to meet objectives. The role requires 5+ years in medical device development or regulated environments, plus 1–3 years in software project management and agile practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required; Master's degree a plus.
• 5+ years relevant experience with medical device development and/or in a regulated, process-oriented development environment
• 1-3 years relevant experience in software project management, project management, or program management of one or more complex projects with multiple stakeholders and global teams
• Previous experience in agile software development highly preferred
• Knowledge of standards for medical devices (e.g. IEC 62304, ISO 14971, ISO 13485)
• Contractor and supplier management a plus
• Experience in patient monitoring a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead software project planning, execution, and closure to achieve project objectives (scope, schedule, cost, quality).
• Establish goals with the software project team, track progress, and implement corrective actions.
• Lead and guide the software project team; collaborate with cross-functional members to achieve key results.
• Ensure understanding and support of project scope and milestones; facilitate timely decisions.
• Apply project management best practices while ensuring compliance with internal processes and external standards.
• Create and manage software DHF deliverables and other documentation.
• Communicate project status, risks, and milestones to stakeholders; ensure predictability.
• Coordinate activities with external partners and suppliers; align with global peers.
