Job summary

Draeger Medical Systems, Inc. is seeking a Sr Software Engineer for Windows Applications in Andover, MA.

This hybrid role requires a minimum of three days per week in the Andover office and focuses on architecture, design, development, and testing of medical software. The ideal candidate has strong C++ and Python skills, extensive Windows development experience (Win32, MFC), and a track record of leading engineering efforts in regulated environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, develop, and test product software with a focus on Windows applications.
• Drive improvements to development processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software across all development phases.
• Provide technical leadership, mentor junior engineers, and guide design decisions.
• Ensure compliance with internal SOPs and applicable FDA and industry regulations.
