Draeger Medical Systems, Inc. in Andover, MA is hiring a Software Engineer II for a hybrid role requiring at least 3 days in the Andover office. You will design, implement and test product software, drive quality, and improve development efficiency while ensuring regulatory compliance.

The role requires 2–5 years of embedded software experience, strong C/C++ skills, and RTOS familiarity (ThreadX). Preferred candidates hold an MS in CS or EE and have experience with I2C, SPI, UART, and GPIO

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• MS degree preferred in CS or EE.
• 2–5 years hands-on software design, analysis and debugging in engineering.
• Strong C/C++ in embedded environments and RTOS experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain product software architecture, design, implementation and testing.
• Diagnose, debug and resolve defects with minimal supervision.
• Comply with SOPs and FDA/industry regulations.
• Build and install software in development and product environments.
• Support tests, defect analysis and coaching from senior engineers.
