Job summary

Daifuku North America is seeking a Software Project Manager V to support the Project Management team for Warehouse Controls and Warehouse Execution Systems. You will lead software projects through the SDLC, coordinating with clients, engineering, and operations to deliver on-time, within scope, and within budget.

This role requires strong communication, risk management, and a proven track record in automation or intralogistics projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, CS, or related field.
Requires 4–7 years of related experience in software project management.
Experience in the material handling industry, warehouse distribution, and warehouse automation preferred.
Knowledge of WMS, WCS, WES and distribution center operations.

Responsibilities

Manage software projects across the SDLC for warehouse controls and execution systems.
Act as main point of contact for external customers and plan/coordinate implementation tasks.
Plan, execute, and complete software projects delivering within scope and budget.
Define BRD and UML diagrams with client input and coordinate hardware/network needs.
Coordinate internal/external testing lifecycles (QA, UAT, FAT, GO-LIVE).
Track schedule, budget, risks, and quality; report status to stakeholders.
