Job summary

Daifuku Intralogistics America is seeking a Project Manager to lead material handling automation projects, coordinating structures, conveyors, robotics, AS/RS, racking, controls, and software. This role includes managing project financials and resources while liaising with customers and suppliers across multiple sites.

You will maintain project records, adhere to Daifuku standards, and provide regular updates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in project management, engineering, operations management, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of project management experience.
• PMI/PMI-PMP certification preferred or able to obtain within 1 year of hire.
• Knowledge of materials handling, WMS, fulfillment or distribution center operations, and supply chain logistics.
• Knowledge of automation projects with machines, robotics, controls, and software.
• Knowledge of SDLC and business contracting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to rapid priorities.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Willingness to work weekends/evenings during go-live.

• Plans, executes, and completes projects involving structures, conveyors, machinery, robotics, AS/RS solutions, racking, controls, and software
• Manages project financials, cost management, and resources
• Manages multiple projects across locations
• Manages relationships and contracts with customers and suppliers
• Creates and maintains project records per company standards
• Follows Daifuku Intralogistics standards for project execution
• Provides verbal and written updates per company standards
• Travels up to 50%
