Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in corporate development, private equity, investment banking, or closely related environment.
• Proven ability to source, qualify, and advance acquisition opportunities.
• Experience engaging credibly with founders, owners, and senior executives.
• Experience with vertical-market software or strong understanding of software markets.
• Clear point of view on applying AI responsibly to research, sourcing, prioritization, and workflow.
• Willingness to travel within the United States and Canada.

Responsibilities

• Build the investment pipeline by proactively identifying vertical-market software opportunities and assessing fit.
• Build relationships with founders, owners, and senior executives to position Harris as the long-term home.
• Advance investments by working with leadership through evaluation, offers, and closing.
• Raise team capability by collaborating on research and evaluation and sharing practical feedback.
• Improve processes through AI-enabled tools and CRM discipline to map activity and progress.
