Job summary
General Dynamics - IT is seeking a Software Integration Engineer to orchestrate and manage complex software deployments across secure government environments. You will lead Tier 3 escalation, diagnose infrastructure issues, and implement automated remediation strategies to improve system stability and performance.
The role requires Linux CLI proficiency, Ansible IaC, and experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm charts.
Qualifications
- Education: Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree.
- Active TS/SCI w/ polygraph clearance is required.
- 8+ years of related experience.
- Proficient with Linux CLI and Linux tools.
- Experience with IaC using Ansible.
- Experience with containerization: Docker, containerd, Podman.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage complex configuration changes and software updates across production systems.
- Serve as Tier 3 escalation lead, diagnosing infrastructure issues and proposing remediation.
- Develop automated remediation strategies to improve stability and performance.
- Create high-quality technical documentation for installations, troubleshooting, and architecture diagrams.
